Welcome to my corner of the web.

A short introduction. I'm an engineer living and working in the San Francisco bay area. I'm originally from Bombay, India. I spend most of my spare time reading (books, web, news, anything), playing about with technology, dreaming about being a writer, and doing the laundry.

My other interests include history, language and culture. (Yes, you heard right, I am an engineer).

Professionally, I'm a research engineer at Yahoo!. My career interests are natural language processing, information retrieval and pattern recognition.

I have an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a BS in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University.
